Types of Real Hair Extensions

The different types of real hair extensions and their advantages.

Hair extensions are now popularly used not just by celebrities but even by ordinary people. You can easily get hair extensions from any beauty supply outlet and online beauty supply shops such as LeeBeauty.com . You can easily achieve any look that you want with just the use of hair extensions.

When it comes to the hair used in your extensions, there are usually two major types – those made of real hair and those made of synthetic hair. Real hair extensions are better options than synthetic ones because you can style it and treat it just like your real hair. There are several types of real hair extensions and although they are generally more expensive than those made from synthetic hair, you can sometimes find some cheap human hair extensions in most beauty shops.

· Remi hair. Also sometimes spelled as Remy hair extensions, they are popularly known as high quality human hair extensions because these are hair that in their virgin state. Remy hair extensions use the finest and most beautiful hair and the cuticles are all in the same direction, making them shiny, smooth, and easy to manage. However, some of the most expensive human hair extensions are remi hair extensions so be ready to shell out some money if this is the type of hair extension that you want.

· European hair. What distinguishes European hair extensions from other types of human hair extensions is not where they originate but in their thin and oval strands. European hair extensions can come in a wide range of colors and they can also be quite expensive.

· Indian hair. Many Indian women do not chemically treat their hair so that their hairs are in their virgin state which means that most Indian hair extensions are also Remy hair extensions. Indian hair extensions are also available in various forms such as fine, thick, wavy, and straight.

· Asian hair. Most Asian hair extensions use Chinese hair which is usually dark black. Unlike European hair that has an oval cross-section, Asian hair has a round cross-section and thicker. In fact, Asian hair is often treated to be thinner before preparing them as hair extensions.

· Caucasian hair. This type of human hair extension is not very common because Caucasians often chemically treat their hair, making their hair very unsuitable to be made into hair extensions. Still, you might be able to find a few pieces of Caucasian hair extensions if you know where to look. This type of hair extension is oval in shape and comes in a wide range of colors such as various shades of blond, red, brown, and many more.

To ensure that you are getting real human hair extensions, buy them only from reputable sellers. You can find a wide selection of real human hair extensions at LeeBeauty.com.

  5. When I was still doing make-up on a professional level, I had to look for some authentic black hair extensions. You see, even if my bride's hair was jetblack, I still had a hard time finding a real black shade that would match her real color. Had I known about LeeBeauty.com before, I would have ordered a couple of extension from this site.

  6. I am having a hard time managing my unruly hair especially in the morning when I have to rush to go to work. I can’t have hair treatment as I am still breastfeeding so I am thinking to just cut it short and just use black hair extensions. At least my hair would still look natural and I don’t have to struggle every morning to fix my hair to look presentable as I go to work.

  10. My Auntie used to run a beauty shop where all kinds of hair pampering are available. As a child I’m used to seeing wigs on one of her display glasses. During those days wigs looks so unnatural unlike Real Hair Extensions which looks like your own hair. I know now how some celebrities and socialites can easily wear long hair anytime they want. They can also change image looks by choosing from the style options.

  12. I am now torn between wearing my hair long or have a pixie cut. At times I wanted the "light" feel of wearing a pixie cut but what prevents me from having that cut is the thought that I cannot style my hair when I want to. But thanks to Real Hair Extensions, I think this will solve my problem if ever I would go for a pixie cut come summer.
